    i want to add domain in capnel


    recently i purchsed a domain from big rock

    plz tell me the procedure of adding domain in cpanel

      First you have to confirm or check whether you are given permission to have addon domains or parked domains .
      Addon domains if you already have one website and want to run another too with different URL .
      Parked domains if you have a website xyz.com on cpanel and want to divert your bigrock domain name to xyz.com .

      If you dont have any domain on cpanel then simply click on addon domains then add a domain name you purchased on bigrock there . it will then give you a message to divert your domain to given name servers .
      If it does not tell you about name servers then ask the people provided you about name servers .
      Then go to bigrock then go to domain settings and choose edit name servers .
      Type the given name servers there and your domain will start working withing 24 hours .

      As i never used bigrock rock so give you a overview of it , you can ask bigrock support to add namservers if you face any problem just provide them the name servers
